B.R. Williams: A New Logistics Company Emerging in Southeast
FreightCaviar · August 19, 2024 · 1 min read

Haney and White, a Kentucky-based 3PL, has claimed it stake in the Southeast logistics scene. They've acquired B.R. Williams Trucking and LTL, creating a new entity: BRW.
Key Facts:
Combined annual revenue approaching $100 million
Target: $250 million by 2030
300+ employees across KY, GA, AL, and FL
Assets Gained:
175 tractors
700+ trailers
5 warehouses (1 million+ sq ft total)
125-130 company drivers
The Deal:
B.R. Williams, a family-owned operation since 1958, brings significant assets to the table. Haney and White, previously asset-light, now controls a substantial fleet and warehouse network. A 3PL acquiring a major asset-based carrier is an unusual move in the industry, however it seems the move has benefited all parties involved so far.
BRW aims to dominate the I-65 corridor from Indiana to Florida.
They're targeting:
Automotive manufacturers and suppliers
E-commerce
Government contracts
Nate Haney, co-founder of Haney and White, says:
"The combination of these four companies provides a dynamic, disruptive, and driven enterprise built on integrity that is ideal for taking advantage of market growth opportunities and long-term sustainability."
What's Next?
Owner-operator program coming soon
More acquisitions are possible
Expansion beyond current Southeast footprint
BRW's formation signals a major shift in the regions logistics and potential beyond. Keep an eye on this company as they pursue aggressive growth targets in the not to distance future.
