Miami Freight Broker STT Logistics Group Marks 10 Years as a Heavy-Haul Leader
Miami-based STT Logistics Group celebrates 10 years as a leading heavy-haul broker, with thousands of 5-star reviews and AI tech to combat cargo theft.
Hitting a decade in freight is no small feat. STT Logistics Group just marked its 10-year anniversary, and with nearly 1,800 Google reviews averaging 4.7 stars, it’s clear they’re doing something right.
Humble Beginnings
Back in 2015, Andre Corbert launched STT Logistics Group with four agents and a simple focus: moving cars. The company’s very first break came by chance. After hauling a pickup truck, the customer—an oil drilling field manager—asked if they could also move 13 massive machines, including tractors and excavators.
STT had never handled equipment like that. They said yes anyway. “We had no clue how to get it done,” Corbert recalls, “but we figured it out.”
All 13 loads were delivered successfully, and STT was suddenly in the heavy-haul business.
Heavy Haul Becomes the Core
That one bold decision set the tone for the next decade. What started as a car-haul brokerage quickly transformed into a heavy-haul powerhouse. Today, STT employs more than 150 people and has expanded into 11 franchises across the U.S. and Central America. They operate out of Miami, Tennessee, and Iowa, while also running offices in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.
Their network now moves freight across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and even further, shipping to Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Africa.
Tech-Driven Growth
Corbert and his team haven’t just relied on grit. Over the past two years, STT invested heavily in technology to simplify operations for brokers, dispatchers, and drivers. Their newest launch, the STT Carrier App, takes aim at one of the industry’s biggest headaches: cargo theft.

“We strive to continually develop technology that makes the process and communication more efficient, saves costs, and combats cargo theft,” says Corbert.
A Reputation Built on Trust
Logistics isn’t known for glowing customer reviews. Which makes STT’s record even more impressive: thousands of positive reviews. On Google, they've got a 4.7-star average. 5 stars on Transport Reviews, and an A+ from the Better Business Bureau. Here are just a few comments:
Scott at RDE Transport: “Just completed another load with STT, and again a great experience. Always great communication and the loads are detailed and exactly as posted.”
Edwin Horning LLC: “Professional service, gets the job done and you can count on receiving your merchandise when they say. Very respectable and will certainly call them again.”
Greg Hovater: “Everything was done as quoted and very professional, I was kept up to date with the progress and very prompt delivery at a reasonable cost, and that is all anyone could ask for.”
Looking Ahead
The STT Logistics Group team celebrates ten years.
Ten years in, STT is far from slowing down. With franchises expanding, tech development underway, and a track record that proves they can adapt to any challenge, the company’s next decade looks even bigger.
“It’s been about saying yes, even when we didn’t know how yet. That’s how we’ve grown.” – Andre Corbert
